Indian developers greatly benefit from the tough global IT competition. This is due to more and more companies relying on more cost-efficient offshore employees from India, due to high cost pressures and increasing competition in their local markets.

Fair rates or wage dumping?
Salaries on the Indian market are much lower than those in Europe. The salary of a European developer who is equally qualified is several times higher. After several years of experience, the German developer can then earn at least 4,800 euros per month (source: t3n). That is about five times as much as an Indian IT professional.
